Mrs Mouse's Cupcake Party - book launch and charity fundraiser
On May the 14th 2011, a private book launch was held to celebrate the publication of 'Mrs Mouse's Cupcakes' and 'Peggy's Lost Pennies', the first two Puddletown Tales titles. Lots of children were invited and an afternoon of games and activities was enjoyed by all.

The party decorations and special 'Puddletown Tales' cupcakes were organised and donated by specialist cake company Nevie-Pie Cakes of Berkhamsted. Apart from the book signing, there was a 'Mrs Mouse Sculpting contest', with prizes donated by Daisy and Mouse gifts, a book quiz with prizes donated by Templar Publishing, balloons, face painting, bubbles, a raffle to win a needle felt toy and of course, a huge tea and charity cupcake sale. All proceeds from the raffle and cupcake sales were given to the Child Bereavement Charity, as well as a generous 20% of book sales made from the Woodstock Bookshop and we raised £450 in three hours.
