Tilly Mouse, needle felted collectible by Gretel Parker
Warmly dressed for winter, Tilly mouse sits with a tiny cup of tea on a large vintage-style wooden bobbin. She is solidly made with pure merino wool, sculpted around an inner wire structure, taking twenty five hours to create. Her whippy tail is sewn with pink floss and she is embellished with French knots and various stitching, including tiny darns to her stocking knee and one ear tip. She has Picot woven flaps on her brown shoes. With glass black eyes and a stitched nose, she has my name ribbon sewn to her underneath and comes with a signed and dated name tag.
Tilly measures 13cm (5 inches) from top to tip, and 15cm (6 inches) when sat on her bobbin, which is wrapped with a matching embroidery floss.
